C1R cells expressing CD1b were treated with DGJ, an inhibitor of α-galactosidase A (α-Gal A) (the enzyme deficient in Fabry disease) alone or together with Gb3 (the main storage material of Fabry disease) complexed with BSA, or with CBE, an inhibitor of the enzyme β-glucosidase (GCase) (deficient in Gaucher disease). Here, CD1B is linked to Gaucher disease.
