PSMA is weakly expressed in normal prostate and is strongly upregulated in prostate cancer; it is also expressed on the apical surface of endothelial cells within the tumor vasculature of many tumor types, but it is not expressed in the vasculature of normal tissues or the epithelium of most normal tissues [15,16,17,18,19]. The gene discussed is FOLH1; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
