NRP–2 is expressed on lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer cells, and renal tubular epithelial cells.22 Previous researches have proved that neuropilin‐2 (NRP–2) plays a critical role in promoting endothelial cell and some types of cancer cell survival.8, 25, 26 We hypothesized that NRP–2 may also participate in regulating the survival of renal tubular epithelial cells. The gene discussed is NRP2; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
