All save one (12/13, 92.3%) p53+/+ AD mice died of aortic rupture, hemothorax, and major bleeding, while only 60% (6/10) of the p53-/- AD mice died of aortic rupture and the remaining 30% of aortic aneurysm and 10% of intestinal obstruction (Figure 6(c)).
