Results in Figure 5D also indicated that ASB treatments with high, medium and low dosage could significantly suppress MCP-1 production (201.57 ± 38.34 pg/mL, 191.57 ± 47.17 pg/mL, 229.67 ± 84.42 pg/mL, respectively) in colonic tissue as compared to the production in DSS-induced colitis (278.24 ± 110.97 pg/mL). Here, CCL2 is linked to colitis.
