Numerous evidence indicate that long non‐coding RNAs (lncRNAs) act as an important part in controlling the malignant progression of human tumours at gene expression level in almost every aspect of biological processes.5, 6 Secretory carrier membrane protein 1 (SCAMP1) functions as a carrier and participates in post‐Golgi recycling pathway.7 Accumulating reports have suggested that dysregulation of SCAMP1 is intimately associated with the development of various tumours.8, 9, 10 However, little is known about the functions of lncRNA SCAMP1 in glioma. This evidence concerns the gene SCAMP1 and neoplasm.
