In addition to previous studies, which reported that upregulation of CDCA2 is common in lung adenocarcinoma and oral squamous cell carcinoma tissue, we found that CDCA2 transcripts were upregulated in CRC tissues versus non-malignant tissues, and its level of expression was positively correlated with greater tumor size and lymph node invasion, suggesting that CDCA2 may play an important role in CRC progression. The gene discussed is CDCA2; the disease is oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma.
