MTOR and in situ carcinoma: Deregulations in the apoptotic pathways (such as p53, Fas/FasL, Bcl-2 family proteins, inhibitor of apoptosis proteins) and survival pathways (PI3K/AKT/mTOR, MAPK) are considered as key pathways involved in the onset and maintenance of therapeutic resistance in EC (3), we identified that AKT/mTOR pathway was specifically activated by Aurora-A to enhances PTX and CIS chemosensitivity in EC cells.
