To investigate the role of the Tubb2b gene over-expression in the pathogenesis of NASH and NASH-associated liver carcinogenesis, we performed a gene network interaction analysis and identified several co-regulated genes involved in microtubule dynamics and cytoskeleton organization (Figure 3A) that were up-regulated in NASH-derived HCC in STAM mice at 20 weeks (Supplementary Table 4). Here, TUBB2B is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
