Significantly higher positivity rates of anti-EA was detected in pSS subjects positive for both anti-SSA and anti-SSB (48.7%; 39.4–58.1), and for anti-SSA alone (39.8%; 30.0–50.2), when compared with anti-SSA/B negative samples (28.3%; 21.1–36.3; P = 0.0008 and P = 0.07, respectively) (Figure 2E). This evidence concerns the gene SSB and peeling skin syndrome.
