TNF and neutropenia: The induction of neutropenia attenuated the expression of all three inflammation markers, with a difference that reached statistical significance for iNOS and TNFα (SAH, neutropenia vs. normal neutrophil counts; iNOS: 89 ± 13% vs. 150 ± 17%, p < 0.05; IL-1β: 358 ± 98% vs. 477 ± 99%; TNFα: 2542 ± 711% vs. 3978 ± 318%, p < 0.05).
