3xTg-AD mice infused with aCSF showed decreased BDNF levels compared with aCSF-treated wild-type mice, and GQ1b administration into the hippocampus of 3xTg-AD mice significantly rescued the reduced hippocampal BDNF levels (WT + aCSF: 100 ± 3.52%, AD + aCSF: 46.89 ± 2.61%, AD + GQ1b: 85.62 ± 7.05%) (Fig. 3A).
