After confirming by qRT-PCR and Western blot analyses the MPPED2 overexpression in transiently transfected cells (Supplementary Materials Figure S3A,B), we observed that the restoration of MPPED2 was able to inhibit the growth in both cell lines when compared to the control cells (Supplementary Materials Figure S3C), leading us to consider that its tumor suppressor activity is not restricted to the more aggressive behavior of BC cells.
