Since cancer therapies often require drug combinations to increase efficacy (e.g., [3,12]), we investigated whether the EGFR blockade could be enhanced with clinically relevant inhibitors of associated pathways, including the dual PI3K/mTOR inhibitor Gedatolisib, the MEK inhibitor Cobimetinib, and the anti-HER2/Erbb2 receptor tyrosine kinase Trastuzumab monoclonal antibody [22,23]. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and cancer.
