The overexpressed MZF1 occupied genomic CDC37 promoter regions (−0.4k and −1.8k regions that contain MZF1-binding sites), further indicating that the CDC37 gene is regulated by MZF1 binding to these MZF1 binding sites in prostate cancer, as suggested by chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) assay (Figure 2E). Here, MZF1 is linked to prostate carcinoma.
