Mitochondrial morphology, the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), and catalase (CAT), and the level of malondialdehyde (MDA) were used to reflect the state of oxidative stress, while autophagosomes (APs), autolysosomes (ALs), and the expression of p62 and LC3-II were studied to explore the effect of ATL-III on autophagy in skeletal muscle tissue in CKD rats. This evidence concerns the gene SQSTM1 and chronic kidney disease.
