Based on time between the claims indicating the initiation of a drug and the initial AE that may have required medical attention, substantial latency of onset (median time to first AE claim) was observed for several potentially treatment-related toxicities in patients treated with 1 L TK/VEGF-directed treatment, including nausea/vomiting (21 days), fatigue/asthenia (72 days), thyroid disorders (133 days), abdominal pain (99 days), diarrhea (108 days), pneumonitis (83 days), hepatitis (154 days), adrenal insufficiency (119 days), neutropenia (110 days) and colitis (97 days) (Table 5). The gene discussed is VEGFA; the disease is hepatitis A virus infection.
