IRS1 and hepatocellular carcinoma: Accumulated evidence indicated that miR-384 negatively regulates the expression of target gene by acting on its 3′UTR sequence: miR-384 negatively regulates the expression of Herpud1 by targeting its 3′UTR sequence and then regulates angiotensin II-induced vascular endothelial cell apoptosis29; miR-384 acts on IRS1 mRNA 3′UTR to inhibit its transcription, thereby inhibiting proliferation of human hepatoma cells30.
