We observed that compared to that in normal tissues, PROM2 was significantly overexpressed in breast, lung, bone marrow, and ovarian cancers, whereas it was underexpressed in colon, esophageal, gastric, kidney, prostate and skin cancers (Fig. 3a [i-xi], Supplementary Fig. S3, Supplementary Table 2) [42, 49–55]. This evidence concerns the gene PROM2 and skin neoplasm.
