We observed that compared to that in normal tissues, PROM2 was significantly overexpressed in breast, lung, bone marrow, and ovarian cancers, whereas it was underexpressed in colon, esophageal, gastric, kidney, prostate and skin cancers (Fig. 3a [i-xi], Supplementary Fig. S3, Supplementary Table 2) [42, 49–55]. Here, PROM2 is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
