We used four models of allergic airway inflammation that employ different allergens (OVA and HDM) priming protocols (systemic vs. local) and airway challenges (acute vs. repeated), to compare the contribution of four key immune response genes; MHCII, TSLPR, CD1d and TLR4, to various parameters of airway inflammation in each of the models. The gene discussed is CD1D; the disease is inflammatory response.
