CRP and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis: The results showed that sulfhydryl groups, CRP, ESR, ferritin and SUA were statistically different between SS and NASH groups at the level p < 0.05, while the statistical significance between these groups were more pronounced (p < 0.001) for ALT, AST/ALT ratio and homeostatic model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR).
