PGF and preeclampsia: In this patient population, at 8–16 weeks of gestation, gpIIbIIIa performed better than PlGF (currently used to screen for preeclampsia) [48,50,51,137] for the detection of patients who subsequently developed early preeclampsia when profiled with the Somalogic platform (AUC = 0.60 for PlGF and 0.72 for gpIIbIIIa, see Table 2and Fig 2B).
