Similarly, transplantation of MSCs‐IL‐10, but not MSCs alone, significantly decreased the Iba‐I‐IR cells in the frontal cortex, (Figure S2),24 suggesting that MSCs‐IL‐10 exert greater anti‐inflammatory effects than MSCs alone, which was a finding supported by Nakajima and colleagues who used a mouse model of ischaemic stroke.23 This evidence concerns the gene IL10 and ischemic stroke.
