Intriguingly, DEPDC1 gives play to cancerogenic function in human tumors, containing nasopharyngeal carcinoma,17 hepatocellular carcinoma,18 prostate carcinoma,22 bladder carcinoma,20 and lung cancer.21 Previous studies have elaborated that DEPDC1 can also affect biological processes of tumors, such as cell proliferation,22 apoptosis,19 cycle,17 and metastasis.18 Consistently, the present investigation confirmed that miR‐374c‐5p regulated DEPDC1 through mediating TAF7, verifying the hidden mechanism of miR‐374c‐5p/TAF7/DEPDC1 axis in breast cancer. This evidence concerns the gene DEPDC1 and breast carcinoma.
