We found that two riboSNitch-enriched 5′UTRs were cancer-specific, which were KAT6A and RALGPS2. All the 3′UTRs identified above were found to be cancer-specific riboSNitch-enriched elements, except for CLCNKB and SMO. These results suggest that cancer-specific riboSNitch-enriched elements might have the potential to be cancer-related functional elements or putative driver elements. The gene discussed is CLCNKB; the disease is cancer.
