SEMA7A and neoplasm: The involvement of SEMA7A-integrin β1 in cell migration and tumour invasiveness is not completely new: Black et al. identified a high expression of SEMA7A in ductal in situ breast cancer characterised by poor prognosis and distant metastases, and showed the involvement of SEMA7A in promoting tumour cell invasion and lymphangiogenesis, via activation of β1-integrin [29].
