hsa-miR-136-5p was described as a tumor suppressor microRNA, associated with impaired tumorigenesis and metastasis in prostate cancer by targeting MAP2K4 [43], renal cell carcinoma [23], lung squamous cell carcinoma by controlling metabolic processes [22], lung adenocarcinoma by suppressing cell adhesion gene expression [24], and glioma and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma by targeting WNT signaling [44,45]. This evidence concerns the gene MAP2K4 and lung adenocarcinoma.
