When we introduced lytic (BMLF1) or latent (LMP2) EBV antigen specificities as TCR transgenic CD8+ T cells in vivo, these cells also appeared to expand more than 3–5 fold in frequency during the course of EBV infection with 105 infectious particles, compared to PBS treated controls (Fig 4C). This evidence concerns the gene PSMB9 and Epstein-Barr virus infection.
