Rimonabant, also known as SR141716, a selective CB1 antagonist, was used as a positive control of anti‐obesity for alisol A. Compared to the vehicle‐treated group (the HF group), the alisol A‐treated mice (the HFA group) and the rimonabant‐treated mice (the HFR group) exhibited markedly decreased body weights at all examined time points (Figure 1A). Here, CNR1 is linked to obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
