Multivariate analysis showed that hypertension (OR (95% CI) = 3.471 (2.180–4.091), P=0.011), diabetes (OR (95% CI) = 3.682 (1.698–4.897), P=0.003), HDL-C (OR (95% CI) = 3.372 (1.760–6.920), P=0.001), and serum MIAT expression (OR (95% CI) = 2.687 (1.683–7.468), P=0.001) were independent risk factors for CAD (Table 2).
