Decreased enhanced lung weight and LDH, WBC, total protein and bronchoalveolar mucin, restored increased NO and lipid peroxides levels and reduced SOD and GST, neutralized alveolar emphysema, inflammatory cell influx, peribronchiolar inflammation and activated form of NF-B over expression in lung fibrosis induced by bleomycin. This evidence concerns the gene SOD1 and pulmonary fibrosis.
