Table 5 shows that HD patients with CD4+ counts < 200 cells/μl were twice more exposed to intestinal parasitoses compared to those with CD4+ counts ≥ 200 cells/μl, but the difference was not statistically significant (OR = 2.041; 95% CI = 0.759–5.489, P = 0.158). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and Huntington disease.
