Given that this drug, a more selective inhibitor of anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) compared to crizotinib and ceritinib, also shows a high level of inhibitory activity toward RET, the efficacy of alectinib in RET fusion-positive NSCLC patients is being evaluated in a phase I/II trial (ALL-RET) [19].
