CCND1 and breast carcinoma: An exception was case 288, an ER-positive lobular breast cancer, where, besides a 1q gain and 16q loss seen in all metastases, there were additional and mutually exclusive CNAs: amplification of 11q13/14, including CCND1 and PAK1, in lymph nodes (288-005 and 288-006), the ascites fluid cell pellet, and ovaries (classified as IntClust2) and 8q and 10q amplifications in brain and lung and pleura (classified as IntClust10).
