FOXP3 and Cachexia: Strikingly, although the total number of FoxP3+ Tregs does not differ between male Bcl10fl/fl;FIC mice and control animals (Fig. 1a), Bcl10fl/fl;FIC mice develop a rapidly progressing wasting syndrome with massive inflammatory cell infiltration and auto-inflammatory pathology in the skin, lung, kidney, and lymphoid organs, requiring euthanasia at approximately 24 days of age (Fig. 1b, c, Supplementary Fig. 2a).
