EGFR G796/C797, L792 and L718/G719 mutations, MET and HER2 amplification, BRAF, KRAS, and PIK3CA mutations, oncogenic fusion mutations in FGFR3, RET, and NTRK were recently identified in a large cohorts of osimertinib-resistant lung cancer patients either treated in second-line [7, 8] and in first-line [9]. The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is lung cancer.
