As shown in Fig. 4f and g, knockdown of β-catenin or TCF4 inhibited β-catenin transcriptional activity and substantially reversed the migratory and invasive ability of miR-188-5p-overexpressing GC cells, suggesting that miR-188-5p overexpression promote GC cells metastasis by activating Wnt/β-catenin signaling. This evidence concerns the gene TCF4 and gastric cancer.
