Cleft palate has been reported in rare cases of the trichorhinophalangeal syndrome (TRPS) (Morioka et al., 1999; Solc et al., 2017), an autosomal dominant disorder resulting from mutations in the TRPS1 gene, which encodes the transcriptional repressor TRPS1. This evidence concerns the gene TRPS1 and trichorhinophalangeal syndrome.
