LOX and cancer: Amongst others, a functional role of LOX proteins has been described in breast [43,75,76], colorectal [57,77,78], pancreatic [79], prostate [80] and ovarian [81,82] cancers, in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma [83,84,85], renal cells carcinoma [86], uveal melanoma [87], and squamous cell skin carcinoma [54], (reviewed in [88]).
