Recently, Chen et al. [103] reported that the pharmacological inhibition of NLRP3 inflammasomes suppressed the accumulation of MDSCs, Tregs, and TAMs into head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) in mice and consequently, the anti-cancer immunity of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells was improved. The gene discussed is NLRP3; the disease is head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
