Notably, among women without hypertension, the SNPs rs9 (HR=0.48; 95% CI, 0.26-0.91), rs42 (HR=1.73; 95% CI, 1.10-2.70), rs219 (HR=1.73; 95% CI, 1.13-2.64), and rs220 (HR=1.56; 95% CI, 1.05-2.32) of the phosphodiesterase 4D gene were associated with ischemic stroke.
