By using DNA methylation profiling, Sturm et al. (2016) identified a subset of CNS high-grade tumors with an AB-like pattern characterized by the meningioma 1 gene (MN1) rearrangements, described as “CNS high-grade neuroepithelial tumors with MN1 alteration” (CNS-HGNET-MN1). This evidence concerns the gene MN1 and neuroepithelial neoplasm.
