Infection of MØs with Nc-Spain7 or Nc-Spain1H resulted in a significant reduction in the percentage of MHC Class II (p < 0.05), CD86 (p < 0.05), and CD1b (p < 0.0001) expressing cells, whereas inoculation with HI tachyzoites resulted only in a significant reduction of MHC Class II (p < 0.05) and CD1b (p < 0.0001) (Table 1).
