Serum Wnt3a level is a useful diagnostic biomarker for hepatocellular carcinoma, particularly in alpha fetoprotein‐negative hepatocellular carcinoma.36 Although serum Wnt3a was dramatically elevated in patients with SCCHN, no significant difference was observed between the levels of serum Wnt3a and clinical parameters of patients with SCCHN. This evidence concerns the gene AFP and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
