Comparing healthy donor and AML PBMCs after IFNα-2b treatment showed that healthy donors had monocytes with stronger induction of PD-L1 (p = 0.014), CD86 (p = 0.05) and CD45RO (p = 0.049) in addition to pDCs with higher levels of CD141 (p = 0.023), whereas AML patients had CD4+CD7− T cells with increased levels of PD1 (p = 0.022). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and acute myeloid leukemia.
