Results indicated that CD8 TM cells from GM treated RA patients exhibited a significant increase in the percentages of TNFα, IL-2, and IL-17 production when compared to both GM untreated (p < 0.0001, p = 0.0009, p = 0.01 respectively) or HC groups (p = 0.004, p < 0.0001, p < 0.0001, respectively). Here, TNF is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
