TNF and neoplasm: Indeed, nor IL-15 (5.2 ± 1 pg/ml in the tumor vs. 6.2 ± 1.2 pg/ml in the adjacent tissue), TNF-α (62.7 ± 11 pg/ml in the tumor vs. 39.7 ± 9 pg/ml in the adjacent tissue) or IFN-γ (62.7 ± 18 pg/ml in the tumor vs. 93.6 ± 20 pg/ml in the adjacent tissue) were found to be significantly modulated in the tumor compared to the adjacent healthy tissue (Figure 4A).
