Based on these possibilities, we suggest that PB2 inhibits the expression of PKM2, HIF-1α and HSP90, and further disrupts the interaction between PKM2/HSP90/HIF-1α to inhibit the nuclear translocation of PKM2, which finally leads to the inhibition of aerobic glycolysis in HCC via HIF-1α-mediated transcription suppression. This evidence concerns the gene HSP90AA1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
