Interestingly, some of the overregulated genes have already been linked to cancer such as: the peroxisome proliferator activated receptor gamma (PPARG) involved in lipid biogenesis regulation [12]; the hexokinase 2 (HK2) and the solute carrier Family 2 Member 1 (SLC2A1) [19], both them related with glycolysis; the ribose-5-phosphate isomerase A (RPIA) linked to pentose phosphate pathway; and genes belonging to cytochrome P450 [20] (CYP450) (CYP2J2, CYP2C9, CYP4F11).
