More deeply, we revealed the miR-27a-5p-Atg7 interaction in vivo and in vitro, and functionally, miR-27a-5p attenuated hypoxia-induced cardiomyocyte injury by regulating autophagy and apoptosis via Atg7, which further confirmed the crucial roles of miRNA-23a-27a-24 cluster in heart diseases. This evidence concerns the gene ATG7 and heart disorder.
